Metal lens hoods convey a reassuringly stable impression by their very appearance. The black anodized aluminium reliably blocks stray light and the precision-engineered tubes have black inner ribs for even greater absorption of unwanted light. There are three types available for numerous filter sizes:

  • B+W metal lens hood 970, suitable for wide angle zoom lenses up to 70º diagonal angle of view
  • B+W metal lens hood 950 for standard lenses and short telephoto lenses
  • B+W metal lens hood 960 with a narrower and longer tube for all telephoto lenses
